Development of an improved methodology for segmenting SMEs that takes into account the SMEs' life-cycles, sectors, innovation cycles and specific socio-cultural environments.
Specification of a more efficient way of matching suitable support measures to segments of (potentially) innovative SMEs
Implementation of a decision support tool (DST) based on the SMEthod methodology and disseminating/exploitating it among innovation supporting agencies, regional development agencies and the scientific community.
